breeders awards

These are awarded to the owner/breeder for points earned in Get of Sire/ Produce of Dam (GOS/POD) classes, including outside (non-AMAHA) shows. The award stages are:

     ELITE SIRE/DAM                            300 pts
     PREMIER SIRE/DAM                     700 pts

legacy award

Any owner having 3 or more horses having won the Superior Sire/Dam title will be awarded the Legacy Award for their contribution and promotion of Model Arabian Breeding. The award is given to the owner, rather than the model. You must inform the Pointkeeper when three of your horses have achieved 1000 points in breeding classes; she will verify the points earned and then the award will be given.

award symbols

Horses shown to certain award levels will be allowed to have + symbols after their names. The award stages are:

         +           -- Legion of Merit
         ++         -- AMAHA Champion
         +++       -- AMAHA Supreme Champion
         ++++     -- Three-time winner of the AMAHA Hall of Fame award

The Legion of Merit, AMAHA Champion, and AMAHA Supreme Champion symbols may be used as soon as your horse achieves each award. When your horse earns its third AMAHA Hall of Fame award, you must inform the Pointkeeper. She will verify the awards and grant you usage of the fourth + symbol after your horse's name.
