SHOW RULES
PHOTOS: Background replacements and/or extreme photo manipulations are not allowed. You may do minor editing adjustments like brightening, cropping, or resizing, but please do not touch up or alter the color/markings/scratches/damage of your horse, or change the backgrounds in any way other than the previously mentioned allowances.
Photos are limited to 800x800 pixels, with a minimum of 500x500 pixels.
・ Bloodstock *requires* a partition block (color block with sire/dam name) in front of the entry to better help the judge separate the sires/dams from offspring and to know which horse to record in the results. Please contact Betty Hook when any new entries are loaded into these classes.
・ Judged on improvement of foal over parent, prepotency (alikeness) and correctness of foals. Only the parents are counted and listed in results
・ Juniors (Classes A/B) are those with one foal
・ Seniors (Classes C/D) must have at least two foals, with no more than six foals entered per sire or dam
・ The Breeding Program (Class E) class requires at least three generations of the same family, in any combination of gender -- for instance, an entry may include a stallion, his grown mare offspring, and her foal.
PERFORMANCE:
・ Showmanship: requires a proper fitting halter with lead. Handler is not required to be visible.
・ Liberty: absolutely no tack allowed.
・ Most Classic Head should be a clear photo of the model's head only, not the body.
・ Park/Saddleseat Pleasure: Only 1 pic per horse -- either Saddleseat or Park.
・ Working English: Dressage - Level and movement MUST be stated; Hunter/Jumper - May have one each H/J
・ Trail (E & W): - limit one each arena/natural. State what the horse is doing. Can split if enough of each type
・ Working Western: Reining -- movement must be stated
・ Working English or Western - may be split if there are more than 10 pix per EACH event
・ Harness: - cart not required, but harness should be of proper type. State whether Fine, Pleasure, etc. - class can be split if there are more than 10 pix per EACH type of harness event
・ Arabian Native Regalia & Showring Costume: - entry to be marked down or disqualified if bridle and/or stirrups are not present. Costume should not drag the ground or impede horse's movement. Can be split Native/Showring/Other if there are more than 10 pix per EACH style of costume
・ Other Performance: - historic, realistic or fantasy, anything imaginable is allowed, but it must be safe and still allow a rider to maintain control of the horse. Class may be split if enough entries.
